Basic Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baking soda

  • ½ cup citric acid

  • ¾ cup cornstarch

  • ½ cup Epsom salts

  • 2 tsp. essential oil

  • 3 tsp. water

  • 2-3 drops food coloring

Step 1: Combine your dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately then whisk together.

Step 2: Slowly combine the two. You don’t want it to activate the solution so just pour in a small amount of the liquid at a time. It will begin to clump. Continue mixing until all the liquid has been added and the texture is uniform.

Step 3: Fill your molds. Slightly overfill each half as it will condense when you press the pieces together. Make sure it snaps into place securely.

Step 4: Let it dry. You can leave it to dry overnight or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
