How do you prefer your eggs? We like ours two ways—as a spring centerpiece and in our garden! With Easter just around the corner, we’ve been inspired to use eggs in an out-of-the-carton kind of way. While yes, they are tasty for your Easter brunch; they also make a pretty, festive addition to your table décor and are useful for your outdoor garden. Check out these two clever ideas.
Sunny side centerpiece
Gently place a small daffodil bulb from one of our bulb garden kits inside a clean eggshell half. Then put the shells in a bright ceramic egg crate along with a few colorfully decorated eggs, for a fun, unique Easter brunch centerpiece.
Over easy outdoor garden
When brunch is over, plant the eggshell bulbs in the soil of your outdoor garden. The shells will start to decompose over time, providing extra nutrients for your flowers.
Make the most of all those Easter eggs and create a floral centerpiece that will have your brunch guests talking. We want to see your creative spring centerpieces too. Be sure to share your creations with #ProFlowers on Instagram.
