Springfest Flower & Garden Show
As the cold, white winter transitions into a warm, colorful new season, Springfest returns once again to remind New Jerseyans of what’s to come. For over 15 years, this flower and garden show has entertained and inspired visiting gardeners with premier garden displays, informative lectures, and show competitions.
The garden displays are set up by exhibitors who donate their time to make them and also attend the show to offer gardening tips, as well as organize consultations for home visits. Make sure to vote for your favorite garden display, as a People’s Choice Award is given out every year among other awards. Educational displays are also set up throughout the show for people to talk with experts and take informative gardening materials. The lectures given throughout the show are always done so by renowned horticulture experts. Topics can range from farming food, to nature in gardening, container gardening and garden photography.
Attendees of the show can plan on getting some shopping time in between visiting the displays and listening to the lectures. Everything pertaining to gardens and flowers can be found in this marketplace. Shop for garden accessories and tools, visit with design experts, and purchase arrangements from the best florists in Augusta.
If you haven’t done so already, introduce your children to gardening by allowing them to attend the Kids Plant Your Own Zone. This is where children can really unearth the delight gardening can bring. They will even have the opportunity to participate in a treasure hunt and take home plants for their own cultivation.
