Occurring two weeks after the first day of spring, these Easter egg hunts provide a perfect opportunity to break kids from hibernation mode and get them moving in the fresh air and sunshine. Most take place in lovely settings for low or no cost. Note that several events require donations, pre-registration and/or membership. If your city isn’t listed here, consider contacting:

  • the closest children’s or natural history museum,
  •  your county’s park departments website,
  • the nearest botanical garden or arboretum,
  • large churches, and
  • local zoos or organic or other farm open to the public.

Happy hunting, everybunny!
