How are the flowers delivered?


In order to guarantee the freshness of our products, our flowers are shipped fresh from the growers to your doorstep. Some selections, like potted plants and wreaths, are shipped via 2Day. Wrapped in cellophane, our flowers are shipped in a specially designed gift box to ensure freshness during delivery. Flowers are arranged as shown in our descriptions. Also enclosed are your personal message, flower food and a letter outlining the best way for the recipient to care for the flower or plant. (A vase may be added to most of our arrangements during the ordering process.)

Where do we deliver?


We take orders from anywhere in the world, for delivery in the US.

Additionally, we offer delivery to many international countries through our sister brands ProFlowers International and FlowerFarm.

What days of the week do we deliver?


We deliver every day except for Sundays and major holidays.

Tuesday through Saturday delivery:

All of the products on our website are available for delivery Tuesday through Saturday, unless the pickup or delivery date falls on a major holiday. For Tuesday through Saturday delivery, orders must be placed before 12 noon Pacific Time the day before you would like your shipment to arrive. However, we do have a selection of products that can be ordered after noon for next day delivery.

Monday delivery:

We have a limited selection of products that are available for Monday delivery. These orders must be placed by 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time Saturday for delivery the following Monday. View products that are available for Monday delivery.

Why are there no deliveries on Sunday?

Because our shippers do not deliver on Sunday in most locations, we are unable to offer Sunday delivery at this time.

What time will the flowers arrive?

For all locations* within the continental United States:
  • Morning Delivery shipments will be delivered by 12:00 noon on the requested delivery date.
  • Afternoon Delivery shipments will be delivered by 5:00 p.m. for business addresses and by 8:00 p.m. for residential addresses on the requested delivery date.

  • 2Day shipments will be delivered by 5:00 p.m. for business addresses and by 8:00 p.m. for residential addresses. 2Day shipments may arrive a day early at no extra cost. For a guaranteed delivery date on plants and wreaths, please select Morning Delivery.
* In some rural areas, Morning Delivery is not available. Services to Alaska:
  • Priority Overnight delivery will be by 12:00 noon or 5:00 p.m., depending on location.
  • Standard Overnight Delivery will be by 5:00 p.m. to most areas of Anchorage, and second business day to the rest of the state.
  • 2Day delivery will be by 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m., depending on location. Some locations require an additional business day for delivery.
Services to Hawaii:
  • All deliveries will take place by 5:00 p.m. Please allow additional time for wreaths and potted plants.

How are the flowers packaged?

Wrapped in cellophane, our flowers are shipped in a specially designed gift box to ensure freshness during delivery. Flowers are arranged as shown in our descriptions. Also enclosed is your personal message, plant food and a care letter outlining the best way for the recipient to cut the stem ends and transfer to a vase. (A vase may be added for a surcharge to most of our arrangements during the ordering process.)

Do the flowers come in a vase?


Usually, we ship the bouquets without vases. However, if you prefer to have a vase shipped along with the flowers, you can buy one for an additional charge. You can choose a vase to buy when you are ordering the bouquet.

The vases you can choose from vary from bouquet to bouquet. This is because our growers each have different vases, and different ones are available at different times. Still, I promise that we will have one available that is appropriate and looks nice with the flowers! Also see above for information on how our flowers are packaged (above).

What happens if my recipient is not present at the time of delivery?

All ProFlowers shipments automatically have a "signature release," which means that the package can be dropped off without requiring a signature. In most cases, the delivery driver will knock or ring the bell, and if there is no answer, will leave the product somewhere safe at the delivery location.

Are there any differences when it comes to International shipping?

Please note that any orders placed for delivery outside of the United States cannot always be tracked. We strive to use the most reliable delivery services, but sometimes our fulfillment partners do not have the proper tracking technology in place. Please note that charges are adjusted to accommodate local delivery conditions. Information would come up when the order is actually placed. All prices on the sites are listed in US Dollars.

Delivery conditions differ per country. When you actually place your order at ProFlowersInternational.com or Flowerfarm.com, our system will present you the available delivery dates based on the delivery conditions of the selected destination country.

ProFlowers International and Flowerfarm, in conjunction with reliable local delivery services, will guarantee delivery on or within 2 days of the requested delivery date. Although some delivery locations require calls to the recipient due to local delivery procedures, we are unable to make pre-delivery calls based on customer requests. We cannot guarantee the time of delivery.

ProFlowers International and Flowerfarm are not responsible for: - Flowers delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender. - Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the customer. -Decreased flower quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender.

If your order is for delivery on a holiday or special occasion, please allow more time for delivery. We recommend you order a few days in advance of the occasion due to time zone differences.

We are not able to guarantee a specific time of delivery. Remote or rural areas may require additional delivery time. Deliveries may vary due to holidays and recipient availability. Recipients are required to be home to receive international orders.
