Eureka Garden Club’s Flower Show
Every year, the Eureka Garden Club puts on a flower show to recognize the best gardeners and florists in Eureka. Any amateur with a green thumb is welcome to enter in any class of the competition. Ribbons for first, second and third place are awarded for each class. Other awards presented by judges are the Horticultural Excellence Award, the Designers Choice Award, given to both junior and senior divisions, and the Awards of Distinction for the junior and senior divisions with the best dried arrangement.
Additionally, gardeners who enter are competing for the honorable mention and the people’s choice award. Once judging is complete, spectators of all ages are welcomed into the show to see the beautiful garden creations and vote for their favorite garden or flower arrangement in both the junior and senior division. Spectators can also enter a raffle to win door prizes and other grand prizes.
